I have been watching the half life 2 machinama series Civil Protection and the creator (Ross Scott) recently pointed out a glitch that only happens when anti aliasing is enabled. Here Is the page of his blog where he pointed it out.

I found by dumb luck that on ati cards you can just sett the the AA and the AF to application controlled in the ccc the glitch goes away but it didn't work when i tried it on my 8600gt he even tried it on his 8800gt and it didn't make a difference.

Here is a picture of the glitch look at the white things in the tunnel. The game is half life 2 you can get to the map by typing "map d1_canals_01" in the console.

Does anyone know of a fix for this glitch?

The ONLY solution I've found to this is to either turn off antialiasing completely or to render the scene using supersampling entirely; no multisampling whatsoever.
Seems like Z-Buffer or Occlusion Culling going mad, but I'm no expert on these thing... I think switching to really high AA (16x or whatever) cures a lot of these glitches though.
Quick look through the attached link, you probably already considered those though.
