Hi

Got a mate who's got this prob. Everytime she boots WinXP she get this error in DOS while booting. But it works fine in safe mode. The only thing she has done is replaced the D drive with another harddisk (was a hd before).

Is this a HD prob or software? I mean....could she have something installed on the old D drive thats required when windows boots?

TIA

Raz

*confusion*

Windows was installed on D drive. But the master was taken out. So C drive was set as slave and D as master. So without D drive, it doesn't boot....just that error. And no safe mode...just the menu. What?
