AOL issues with Linksys WRT54G wireless router

I have just installed a Linksys WRT54G wireless router. I can connect to the internet using IE, but I cannot connect to the internet using AOL. I have contacted Linksys, and of course they say it is a problem with AOL and to contact them. I cannot contact AOL now, because my account is a free account, and they only provide support to paying customers. Has anyone out there had this problem and what was the fix? I am assuming it is a setting in the router, but I have no idea what.

There are so many better ISP's than AOHell... They have there own security problems as Microsoft has, that they cut themselves off easily... Try to forget them. Getting them off your system may be just as hard

AOL have issues with just about everything!!!!

reneewest you could try and turn off all the crap that AOL uses for security one by one until the router starts to work
