AOL Mail service targeted by spammers

  1. A number of AOL users claim their e-mail accounts have been hijacked and are being used to send spam. AOL is on the case although preliminary reports suggest some of the accounts are being spoofed, not hacked.

    I thought AOL went belly up years ago, It's been a hellava long time since I've heard about them.

    I have a jacka-s friend who still pays far aol mail. I often get that problem from facebook friends Usually goes away when I unfriend the person.

    Um yeah. I figured that out about AOL so I changed my primary email address. Now its a lot nicer. I just get job search sites spamming me. So I block them all ^.^

    I got such an e-mail last night. Coming from a server in japan, it was definitely spoofed, and, thanks to SpamCop, it was reported.
