Apache tomcat

i m new to jsp...only know basics....i have some web
pages .....jsp that need to be processed....i m using apache tomcat 6 for this...when i start its service it refuses to start...log file says unable to read the file...server.xml.....am using a PIII mobile with 512 mb ram....btw i m using it for a network search engine programmed in java.backend is mysql

i m new here ...so sorry...neways the problem was that some jar file was troubling it...i found out that i could get around it...thanks for help
