I am pretty sure that I will be receiving this error with other gaming software too. ( unless u assist me ! )
    I run windows 7 hp sp1 32bit , G3IM-S2L system model , Award Modular Bios v6.00PG,Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU E5200 2.5 Ghz processor , 2G of RAM , DirectX 11

I don't know if it helps but I wasn't facing this issue until I got clean install of windows 7.

    Thanks in advance
