appearance probs on vista

i installed vista on my laptop ....... no problems occurred........ i was online it looked perect there was nuffin wrong wiv it.............. then 1 day i turned lappy on n it had altered ........ the colours wdnt work n everything looked dull pixelated n distorted cd n e 1 help me 2 sort out this problem???
