We don't do "First" here. It's usually the fast track to deletion. Just saying.

I'm excited about that fact that I won't feel even the vaguest need to be excited about ANY Apple release, let alone this one.

When a cable company started showing ads on TV about how you could use your iPad to change channels on your TV, that's when I realized that this garbage was for the young, foolish, and dull of wit.

That said, there's no zen peace for me, listening for the sound of one Apple turd dropping.

I'd also like to point out that this is an improved attitude since my feckless youth. Way back when, I would have simply snorted a couple of lines of meth, then got up and changed the channels with the buttons, (or knobs perhaps), on the TV itself.

But, now that drug paraphernalia has been outlawed, I expect an old, broken, iPad, would come in handy as a chopping block.. In fact, you could probably turn this into a party game. Just roll up a hundred dollar bill, and try to short the letters....(wait for it)........,"I-P-A-D"....... :p

Disclaimer: Now boys and girls, (and some adults), this is merely a rant by your unfriendly, neighborhood crank poster. Don't ever try this at home.....;)

Yeah. The only Apple(s) I get excited about is the bags of apples I buy from the grocer.

I was hoping for an update on the apple tv. I plan on getting one but don't want to be stuck with an old model in a few weeks time...
