If you're a PC gamer and a fan of Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed series, it will come as no surprise to learn that the series' latest title, Assassin's Creed Syndicate, has been delayed on PC by just under four weeks.

Syndicate, which is set in London during the Industrial Revolution, is set for release on Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on October 23, 2015. The PC version, which has been delayed so that PC gamers "get the most stable, optimized version of the game on day one", will be released on November 19, 2015.

Ubisoft Kiev's Studio Production Manager, Sam Kovalev, says that the studio's production and validation process has improved, which allows them to polish and optimize the PC version of the game throughout the development process. Despite these improvements, the game has still been delayed to ensure the best experience come launch.

Kovalev has assured PC gamers that there will be no resolution or frame rate locks in the PC version of Assassin's Creed Syndicate. Ubisoft are still finalizing the system requirements for the game, but when they are released, the recommended requirements will target 30 FPS at 1080p.

By delaying Syndicate until November on PC, hopefully Ubisoft can properly optimize the game for gaming PCs, something the company couldn't achieve with their previous release, Assassin's Creed Unity. Unity was one of the few Assassin's Creed games that weren't delayed on PC, so hopefully the delays to Syndicate will make the game much more polished at launch.

Im confused how you can say the recommended specs will target 30 fps in 1080p. are we talking low settings 1080p or medium-high 1080p or...?

"Ubisoft Kiev's Studio Production Manager, Sam Kovalev, says that the studio's production and validation process has improved"

the state unity was released was a premeditated intentional decision. its not like they didnt notice how shitty the game was at release they had an entire campaign to hide its state and highlight other aspects.
so saying the validation process has improved as if saying "this time we will actually notice if the game is broken" is total bullshit and just shows the company is still lying to the customers

No, they're talking hardware specs, like your CPU and graphics card. They're saying that if you meet the recommended specs, you should be able to pull 30 FPS at 1080p. I would assume they're talking about medium settings, seems a fair place to set the bar.

That last sentence was what I was talking about. I just dont see how anyone can assume medium or high settings. They might be saying 1080p at 30fps at lowest possible settings elsewhere so they can impressive people with the requirements.
