wireless clients cannot get a DNS ip address on ASUS network

I have a home network that consists of the following components:
AP: Windows XP SP2, ASUS 802.11g wireless card, DSL connection to the Internet

    2nd computer: Windows 2000 sp4, ASUS 802.11b wireless card

    3rd computer: Windows 2000 sp4, ASUS 802.11b wireless card

I enabled Internet connectin sharing at the Access point but the clients cannot get a DNS address. At times, the clients show that they have acquired a DNS and an IP address but when I try to access the Internet I get the message that "cannot find server or DNS error".

I would like to receive some suggestions from other users who have a lot more experience than I do in this matter.

Thanks in advance for your help.

What kind of wireless router are you using? Go into the router settings and make sure that 802.11g ONLY is not checked. Also make sure the two W2000 computers are set to Obtain IP address and DNS server automatically..

With wireless, everything has to match. Also secure your network once you get it running.
