Asus boards and memory?

  1. Hello. I was reading about where Asus boards are very particular about the memory you can use :eek: . Would i be able to match this

    motherboard (Asus A8N5X) with this memory
    http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16820145440
    CORSAIR ValueSelect 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200). The specs on the Asus board is exactly like the specs of the memory, but the memory isn't on the Asus's Qualified Vendors List :( . Does that list mean anything, or is it stating only the memory that can be used by Asus boards? Has anyone had problems like this before? This memory is very good memory, and i think it would look awsome on this board :stickout:. haha .Thanks :angel:
