ASUS K8V SE Deluxe SATA problems

maxtor diamondmax 10 SATA

Hello, i have for the second time problems installing WinXP on my SATA HDD. The first time some smart friend could fix it for me... this time I want to install WinXP64.

It detects my drive proper in my sata-thingy from fasttrack...
So I start the Windows Setup, and press F6 to load an up-to-date driver what is no problem... and than when i must select a drive it says there is no HDD present...

I'm not sure if there is allready a topic for this problem, found one that looked like it... but could find a solution in there. I'm not quite pro in this kind of sh*t.

After you've pressed F6, let it finish loading a few more drivers then it should ask you for the driver for the RAID controller or SATA controller. Did you get to that part? or did it completely skip it?
