Yup, I have an old Asus P2B-L rev 1.03 board, and was dissapointed that I could not run the PIII 750 chip I had around. The board only runs down to 1.8v. BUT in doing a little research, I swapped out the old volt reg chip (HIP6004ACB) with a new volt reg chip (HIP6004DCB) which runs down to 1.3v! Granted, your still stuck at 100mhz frontside bus, but now that PIII is purring along great in my revived P2B! I wouldn't reccomend this to an amateur, but anyone with a bit of soldering experience, and some patience might have a bit of fun with this mod. Enjoy, ya hardware freaks!
