  1. Hey all,

I was just wondering if the nForce4 chipset in my vnf4ultra mobo will work with
    an ATI x1600 graphics card.

    Thanks in advance.

If they didn't I reckon they'd be hell to pay by Nvidia.
I can't say I've tested it personally, but isn't there reviews where they grab Radeons and Geforce's and chuck em in one particular mobo..
actually, the best way to tell with good confidence is find a nForce4 review OR a graphics card review that uses a nForce4 platform.

    Hi again mossimoboy.

    go here.

The TechReport did a comparison of lots of graphics cards on a nForce4 SLI mobo and that worked well (Radeon X1600, X800 and X1800 all tested).. you could even read the article to find out about performance of your card on that platform.

i think that you should have no problems to run this vga card in this chipset. in a lot fo reviews that i saw, they work just fine.
