  1. I have recently decied to not get the speakers I was going to buy for my new comp since I'm going to college and I thought it would be better just to get a headset. Soooo this leaves me with an extra 100 bucks wich I have decied to use to upgrade my video card. My question is wich one to get either the ATI X1900XTX or the GIGABYTE Geforce 7950GX2 OR go with the old one b/c these ones may be soon outdated by DX10, but I have heard that these possibly will be compatiable with DX10.

    I don't think they'll be DX10 compatibile because DX10 uses SM4.0(i recall it that way:) )
I would buy ATi (cause i like it).
That nVidia card is just too pricey! my opinion...doesn't worth the buck.

They still don`t exist, but they`ll be used for future games, which have more features (especially graphical).

In this moment, I still recommend a DX9 video card.

I would just get a mid-end card ( x1600 or 7600gt) to save up for your next big envestment (DX10).

I agree with CrossFire851. A 7600GT would be the best option right now.
