I got the Sound Blaster Audigy (1) Platinum as a hand-me down, along with some Creative speakers (5.1, not sure on which ones). Ive got it all hooked up like the manual says but i can't get the right rear speaker to work (i think its the connection at the sub but i wanted to ask if it could be something else before doing anything). Its not both rear, its just the rear right. And the speaker isn't blown out or anything cause it works in other slots such as front right. Any ideas what is causing this?

will anyother speaker work if pluged into that slot?

It wouldn't hurt to update to the latest drivers, but it does seem as if that slot is busted or dirty.

Well I turned on my computer this morning thinking i was gonna try a couple more things but it fixed itself over night. I dunno what happened but they are all working now...
