Audigy 2 game port problem

I have an Audigy 2 with a gameport that plugs into the card
worked great when bought but I suffered a HD death and after the new HD install..i get an error message that says the gameport cannot find resources I am pretty much self taught with the computer and troubleshooting...HELP

Bernie; I had the same problem on my PC. I did a cold install of Win xp Pro without service pack 1 or Service pack 2. That is when problem showed up.
Problem was fixed with latest update to Audigy 2 drivers available from Creative. Here is the download page at Creative:
