heyall im new to the forum
i can usually figure things out after i get a little help from the smart ppl like yourselves :O
anyways ive got an audigy sound card with 5.1 surround sound logitech speakers.
i had troubles getting them to work before and now that i reformatted i forgot
ive got the settings in the control panel set to 5.1 but for some reason even with my volume levels cranked its not as loud as it should be...
also when i play dvds u can barley even hear them.

You can set volume levels for all audio sources separately. Make sure you have set the soundcard master volume to ~80%, then max out the separate sound sources. Use the Creative Sound Mixer for this.
