Audio CD inserted in Samsung DVD writer H552B causes Win XP to reboot

    When I insert an audio CD into my Samsung DVD writer H552B causes Win XP to reboot. Any ideas to fix this?

    It was working fine

    Albert,

    It was working fine since I bought it. Strangely enough it suddenly started working fine again. The only difference was there was an auto update of windows and no other changes were done on the pc.

    Its still rebooting the PC

    I found that after a few days the PC has started rebooting again when an audio CD is inserted.

    DVD43 the cuplrit?

    It apears that DVD43 used by DVD Region+CSS free and DVD idle is the cause of the problem. Go to Audio Cd settings in Region+CSS free and disable AUDIO CD FREE.
