I was just wondering, can you hook up and external audio device (e.g MP3 player or radio) to a computer using the mic in port. I have a cable that would do the job and am able to use sound recorder to record about a minute of the audio. But is there any way to have the audio on constantly without having to record it. The computer has built in speakers if they were external I’d hook the player up to them directly, and getting speakers isn’t an option for where the computer is situated.
