AutoPlay-start-up to a cd

    When you put in a cd into the cd-rom a screen opens saying what u want to do as in open file and view them or something like that but onmine it used to happen not anymore. I want this to happen but how do i make it happen.Please tell me how to turn it on

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

    Try running the Microsoft Autofix.exe. This should help to reset your cd-roms to auto play.

    I have attached the file for you. Just unzip it and double click on exe.

    Go into your device manager and right click on your optical drives and choose uninstall. Reboot your computer and Windows will redetect the drives. See if that helps.

    My Computer > Right click on your CD-Rom drive > Properties > Autoplay > choose your file type.
