Avast constantly asking to restart

By ELLEphant

  1. Recently, avast is constantly asking me to restart my operating system. So I do I mean who's gonna object? But every time, it always gives me the same virus/yellow warnings and shouts at me that there's a virus and blah blah blah. So I always quarantine them but they still come up.

I am constantly running counterspy also (it runs at 2 am). I AM aware that there's a virus on my computer. I just don't think I'm doing enough to fix the problem. And I came to find that Task Manager was disabled!!! ><!! But I fixed that. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Here's a HJT log if it helps.

Your system is infected with malware.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.

    Regards Howard :)
