Avira Antivirus Not Updating

    Ironic that Techspot user's heavily recommended antivirus Avira is malfunctioning. After installing the new version, 10.0.0.561, the virus definitions have to be manually updated. There are various posts in their forum about this. It also has no way to disable the autorun blocking feature that I could find, at least the problem exists with usb disk drives that previously had no problems. I know they always displayed popups when automatically updating that Techspot told how to block, but I would welcome these popups if only this previously reliable antivirus solution would work.
