  1. I accidentally noticed that i got a worm b.exe. It blocks my Task Manager and Registry access. I tried to remove it in MSDOS (with system restore disabled), it comes back again. Antivirus programs do not detect it. What can I do? Here is my HJT log:

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

It looks like your system is infected with an unidentified trojan of some kind. You`re also running an outdated version of HijackThis.

Very Important: Before deciding whether you should clean or reformat your system, go and read this thread HERE and decide what it is you want to do.

If after reading the above, you wish to clean your system, do the following.

Go and read the Viruses/Spyware/Malware, preliminary removal instructions. Follow all the instructions exactly.

Post fresh HJT, AVG Antispyware and Combofix logs as attachments into this thread, only after doing the above.

Also, let me know the results of the AVG Antirootkit scan.

    Regards Howard

Thanks, but i erased the hard drive before I read this. Nothing at all worked and it became impossible to work on the computer.

Ok, no problem. Thanks for letting me know.

If you have any further virus/spyware problems, please post in this thread.

    Regards Howard :)
