Backdoor.tidserv!inf disabled my sound...help!

  1. Hi, Norton alerted me to a new virus called backdoor.tidserv!inf a few days ago, but can't do anything to clean or remove it. At the same time the sound on my computer stopped working when I play dvds, youtube/hulu videos, or even pandora. I reinstalled all the drivers so the virus must be interrupting it. Malwarebytes finds no threats, and avast doesn't seem to have helped. Anyone have any ideas?

If you would like us to review the system for malware, please follow the steps HERE.

Be sure to check the lines in both Malwarebytes and Superantispyware to remove what is found.

Then we will instruct you on what to remove in Hijackthis, if anything and determine if you should run additional programs.
