Backdoor.tidserve!inf

  1. You probably get a lot of these, but I am pretty sure I recently (yesterday) got this virus.

I've downloaded Malware and HijackThis. Both of which when double clicked, don't do anything. Don't even open.
I feel as though the virus is blocking them.

Any other steps that I could take at this point would be GREATLY appreciated.

I have run Symantec Scan twice and it comes up with backdoor.tidserve every time listing it in the Temp folder as most of the other cases I've read about.

But the other cases you can seemingly use HJT and I can't...help!!
    Thanks

Try following this procedure using the programs recommended in the order given, and post the results along with your computer specs.;) Since you have Symantec, you may want to delete or disable it.
