Backup Error, Catastrophic?

    Im trying to back up my computer and it keeps coming up with catastrophic errors? If it was so catastrophic... Wheres the bsod?
    Ok Im kidding
    But why am i getting such errors? the computer is brand new cause i needed a faster computer for halo.
    Error number: 0x8000FFFF
    Please to me as soon as you can :D

    go to your Event Viewer, find the specific error, and report the precise wording

    event viewer? how do you access it from vista? I have admin rights.
