Bad Popups, have tried most scans, not sure what to do

I have tried various scans and such, many suggested by the forum in other threads, a friend good with computers sat down at my comp for awhile, her suggestion to is reinstall everything, so I thought I would post and see if thats the best solution or what I should do.
Basically, I have these popups that have infected my computer, I have no idea where they came from or what to do.

I don`t think you have any need to reformat the hard drive.

Yes, you do have some infections on your system, but they can all be got rid of.

Go HERE and follow the instructions exactly.

Post a fresh HJT log into this thread, only after doing the above.
