Well let me ask a few questions befor we start thinking of more technical problems:

Did you try to uninstall then reinstall?

Do you have xfire open during play? ( Xfire causes about 90% of game crashes )

Does your system meet the minimum requirements for the game?
Go this this website: and run the test for Battlefield 2

If you get recommended you could try updating your Video drivers and get the latest update for Battlefield 2

If you get a minimum pass then upgrade your system to the stuff it needs ( videocard, RAM or something else like that )

If you fail do the same for the minimum pass results

    Hope I helped :)

Try updating the Silicon Image SATA driver - SI3112r.sys.

    Probably caused by : SI3112r.sys ( SI3112r+7afb )
