Bccode error : ea and freezing in game, brand new system (all parts)

  1. i have recently purchased and assembled a new pc, and am beginning to wish i hadnt...
the first few days it worked fine, then started bsod'ing, and a run of memtest86+ showed one of the ram sticks as erronous. I removed and put a new stick of ram in, seemed to work fine, for a day or so, but now(and it seems to get progressivly worse) i can't launch any games without it either freezing or going strange. sometimes little 'holes' appear all over the game (little colored or black rectangles all over the screen), movement freezes, and nothing can be done but hard reboot (sometimes the mouse is still responsive)... sometimes (and i'm not sure how to describe this) the 3d shapes seem to stretch themselves and go crazy... like if it is supposed to be a ball shape, it might stretch itself out to have massive jagged spikes or something, before causing the system to halt. and more recently while watching videos (using vlc) the sound will continue but the video will just black out or green out, and any attempt to exit the player results in a freeze (the video problem has gone from never happening to happening about 50% of the time an attempt to watch vid is made)... my guess would be graphics card problem but really i'm not sure, can't be dust or anything as all parts are less than a month old and no dust has settled yet

the error messages have shown up only once, and are :

BTW i forgot to mention the games i have tried...

    spore creature creator
    company of heros
    art of murder
    zoo tycoon 2

the only game i've been able to run error free since after a few days of assembly is skyroads in dosbox :p

This 0xEA is isolated to either the Graphics Card or Graphics Card Device Drivers. The MiniDumps cite Nvidia Drivers as the Probable Cause

Try using Driver Clean Pro to remove the Drivers and then reinstall the latest drivers. Then try running 1 of the Games if it doesn't improve then you need to replace the Graphics Card, which I suspect most from your Description of the problem.

ok--tried updating and managed to get further than previous;y in zoo tycoon, company of heros still freezing at load-up (might be worth mentioning all the company logos and intros play thru fine on all games)... will try a new graphics card and post with the results.
