Best mouse resolution???

  1. Monitor resolution I understand, but I'm looking to buy an optical mouse and see that resolution varies. So what's better...400 or 800dpi?

    higher = better. the higher resolution gives better tracking and accuracy.

    depends on a lot of stuff.. i have a mouse with 2000dpi.. and that gets way high.. a normal ball mouse has what equals about 1600-1700dpi.. wich is the most common setting.. though the 2000dpi does make youre reactions way faster.. it takes some time to contole
