BEST Performance/Value HDTV available for christmas?

Hi!

I am soon going to be investing in a new HDTV and with the massive selection available want to know what ones you guys think offer the best performance/price balance

I'm considering 32", and a really good response time because I'll be using it primarily for games! I want to spend under £600 also. Theres such a selection I just don't know where to start Are there any standout televisions that everyones buying? Are there any standout features that everyones looking for?

So any suggestions? I'd have thought some of you hardcore gamers have a huge knowledge what Televisions are ideal for console gaming

Get the Panasonic TX32LXD70 (think that's the right model number). By all accounts excellent HD and also SD pic (which is a bonus).

Edit: Might be a touch more than 600, but worth the extra money I reckon...
