Best Speaker equipment for PC

hey all, okay so i am planning to host a party in a large room and i need some pretty loud bassy speakers to use with my PC. Whats the best setup for this kind of situation?

If you want something realy loud you could hook your PC up to a PA system like what bands use.

You could always rent a system from a local music shop in case this party is a once in a while thing.
