OK so this is a bit of a new one for me. A friend of mine has recently moved his office into a summer house in the middle of his garden and at first he was able to connect to the internet wirelessly by using a net-gear booster. Now he says the signal has dropped completely and the only way he can get online is by using his phone as a hotspot.
He uses his laptop in the summer house which is probably about 20-30ft from the router. He is not sure on the model of the booster/extender but did state it was an older one.
What would be the best way to boost the signal for himself so he can get the wifi from the house to the summer house and if he does need an booster/extender what would be the best one to buy?
