Im having problems & errors with some of my HDD's
so im going to use:
Darik's Boot And Nuke
http://www.dban.org/
and
SpinRite-6
http://www.grc.com/sr/spinrite.htm

all the drives have had all their data backed-up to other drives so they are all unallocated now and ready to be repaired..

What is the best way do do this..??
DBAN 1st then SpinRite
or
SpinRite 1st then DBAN

Or should i do something completely different..??
What do you experts think would work best..??

anybody have any ideas..??
Tried DBAN on all the drives first but it came back about 9Hrs later and it seemed to have finished but there was a error message stating there was Non Fatal Errors casued by bad sectors or something..
Would SpinRite be able to fix this or what should i do.??

If anything reports bad sectors, I'd be vary wary of the drive.

I have used HDDRegenerator in the past with some pretty good success. But still I'm always cautious of a drive that has ever had bad sectors.

So for your prob, if you can get ahold of HDDRegen, try that, otherwise just get a new drive.

how much better or efficient is HDDRegenerator than SpinRite-6...??
because for some odd reason spinrite is not working correctly on a few of my SATA-2 HDD's
but when i run HDDRegenerator on them it works just fine..
but im not sure if its actually working correctly though to find or fix anything..??

So I just want to know how much better or worse HDDRegenerator is over spinrite-6 in terms of: Accuracy, Efficiency, productivity , and in detecting and fixing HDD problems-errors...ect.??
