Bethesda says 'turn down the settings' to fix Dishonored 2 performance issues

Denuvo runs fine in EA games. The Frostbite engine is impeccably optimized and Denvuo doesn't harm performance. You don't hear anyone complaining about Battlefield 1 performance issues (it also uses Denuvo)

My point was that Bethesda is known for buggy games and with Denuvo two DRM's are present. There have been questions what happens if Steam quits. Now we have to wonder what happens if Steam OR Denuvo quits.

I haven't bought and will never buy any game that uses Denuvo. Luckily CPY is able to crack latest Denuvo version. Hopefully other groups will discover faster ways to beat. Then we hopefully get rid of it as it becomes useless.

Gog.com shows how to deal with DRM BS.

What's that? Early adopters got screwed again? Impossible. It's like they will never learn.

I am sick of this over and over again. Most of AAA titles coming out on PC are a mess. As far as I remember only Doom had a smooth launch this year.

That is why we need Demo's !
We need to know what we buy and how it works on our rigs before throwing 60 Euros on a game that is unplayable.

This is exactly why we don't get demos. Devs do not want us to experience a garbage game before we shell out money to buy it. They won't sell anything if they show us how bad it is prior to launch. It's all about money. It's never about the consumer.

Ok so let's say they need around two months to create a Demo. I can say I do not need the Demo, but then use these two extra months to polish the game. At least Microsoft released a Demo for Forza Horizon 3. The game was launched on 27 September world wide and the Demo came out on 3th or 4th November for PC, for Xbox it was even sooner.
And they said that a Demo will be available post - launch, so they had it in mind but did not focus on it. Having this as an example, how much time do they really need for a Demo ? Not that much for sure. Of course you can say it depends on the genre, which part of the game they want to include in the Demo and so on. But I still believe Demo is not that time consuming. It's just that they know what they are releasing on the market and they do not want the consumers to know.
The same reason they do not send early copies to reviewers. If they will start and say oh well, even though you have a good rig the game will run like crap, some of them will skip buying the game at launch at full price and will wait for fixes and sales.

Performance issues for whom? I've got Win 10 Pro AE, AMD FX-8370 BE, and GTX 1080 FE and I'm running a solid 60fps at 1920x1080 with all settings on Ultra. I don't know what the complainers have, maybe because they're too ashamed to post their specs, but they complained about Deus Ex Mankind Divided being so poorly optimized and I didn't have any issues with that on ultra either.
