Well, if you've been living under a rock this whole time I can inform you that Apple has a really good marketing strategy and they made iPhone "cool" among teens, it's not my opinion, it's how it is.

Meh, I wouldn't say with just teens either, here in the UK at least my parents think they are cool and quite a few people I know think they are cool who are not teenagers.

I personally think Apples Marketing is rather offensive, it almost seems condescending. I am an iPhone user myself mainly because the rest of my family have kind of embedded themselves in the Apple ecosystem.

I am probably going to get a One Plus One though when they (eventually) release as that is the first Android phone I really have been interested in.

I've heard mostly good things about One Plus One, but since it runs Cyanogenmod, it has some little bugs here and there, so watch out for bugfixes until you decide to buy it.

I like tinkering and I've used Cyanogenmod before and quite liked it! Most products come out with bugs these days, I'm not suprised xD I also like the look of the new version of Android coming up (Android L).

different countries, different culture, (but sure you don't understand that) but here Android is the allegedly "cool" phones here with teens like yourself here in Canada. And its ok for you wanting to be cool. You're only young once right? I wish I could be young and a teen again.

On a serious note: it really must be an advertising/culture thing. You rarely see any iPhone ads here, but see Samsung ads all the time.
