Bios Upgrade

I am trying to flash my mobos bios due to an issue. (hope this fixes my problem)
Windows 2000 stopped loading.
The motherboard is fine as I have tested another hdd with it.
The hdd is fine as I have tested it with another mobo.
The memory is ok which I have also tested it with another module.

My specs are:
Nec 3550A
Wd Caviar 30gb wd300
ga-8vt800
rage 128pro ultra
don't think power supply matters
cpu 2.4 cely

I am wanting to flash the newest bios due to this issue.
The problem just happend all of a sudden and stopped loading windows.
I have installed windows 2000 with another mobo and the same hard drivwe but that not seem to work.

Ive tested this mobo,hdd with other components (they work fine)

I am trying to reinstall windows but I can't due to ntdetect failed
and
\winnt\system32\config\systemced
and file \i386\biosinfo.inf failed to upload set up cannot continue

Ive tried setting the jumpers in diffrent places but it just gives me
I\0 0000000 errors.

Any suggestions would help.

So this is why I want to upgrade my bios hopefully this will fix my issue...

So why do you want to Flash the BIOS

Whats the HD got to do with the Mobo being supposed faulty

How does testing the memory with another module prove the memory is OK, or do you mean you put another stick in and it worked

Dont think Im being mean, but you really need to rethink your post, start again and tell us exactly what you are trying to achieve and why you think a BIOS flash would fix it.

My issue is I am not able to load windows 2000 or to reformat.
When I format windows boots but I only get to the set raid up with f6 page then I get a file\i386\biosinfo.inf failed to load set up cannot continue
My hdd,memory,mobo, dvd have been tested with other systems and they work.
But when the hdd and mobo are put together I get this messages over again.

I was thinking bios update will work but I am just so stressed that this pc does not reformat/loads :/

Generally, you don't flash the BIOS unless there is an issue. BIOS tampering can be lethal to the motherboard if not done right. If it ain't broke, don't fix it. Flash the BIOS back if you can.
