  1. hey all,

    am facing prob that my pc didnt save the bios setting. every time i go to setup and set 1st boot as "CD ROM" but afer restarting it again don't boot window cd and when i again visit bios setup the 1st boot again cme bak to HD. solution plz

    you need a new battery on the Mother board to keep the settings :)

    unless your PC is a laptop (and there is only the big hi capacity battery),
    a desktop system has a small battery to keep the clock and BIOS refreshed.

    What CPU battery?

    thanx.

    k sir the draw back of using "HUB" in a network is that it do transmit data on all the ports so it will create trafic problems on the network but we also have a type of "HUB" called "switching hub" which do read properly the address and thn sends so is this type similiar to switch or it is only a type link with "HUB"

    no he meant a CMOS battery.
