Black scern then desktop

Ok when i start bf2 it goes black for 2 seconds then back to desktop can anyone help me out? i think its cuz of my video card and if u could tell me how to check all this it be helpful 2 thanks

Can you give us some more specific system specs? (CPU, motherboard, maker and model of video card, amount of system RAM)

Try to update your video and sound drivers to the latest version from the respective manufacturers.

Also, update DirectX to the newest version if you don´t have it already.
