Black screen in Windows XP startup

Hi there,

I have a question regarding my newly repaired monitor.
In the normal startup procedure, windows first display the status screen (in which the windows xp icon is displayed and a status bar is flashing). Then it
switches to the final loading screen. Finally, user login window is shown.

when I start up my wxp, after the status screen, my screen is turned black. Then after 1 second, it re-display the same status screen. After another 1-2 seconds, it switches to the final loading screen.

I wonder if this is a monitor problem. Is there anyone who experiences the same?

What you`ve described doesn`t sound to much of a problem to me.If it works don`t worry.That`s my philosophy.
