Black screen of doom upon second installation part.

I Just built myself a brand new system, im using a intel D945GTP motherboard with a pentium 4 3.0 processor. everything SEEMS to recognize everything else, including cd drive and HD. when i start up my comp, i get the option to boot from the windows cd. i do so, go throught it all, format a partion, then it loads the necisary setup files into the instillation folder. everything seems to be going fine. but then when it reboots, it comes up with the intel pic, like normal, but when it SHOULD start up the rest of windows, to goes to a black screen with the word RENTFS at the top......no clue what is happening, any ideas?

Ok, im sorry this took so long, couldnt find this page. i hate finding the fix, and not being able to tell others. If you ever have this same problem, it was cause by my new CD drive/burner. bought a new DVD R/RW drive, and everything went perfect.
