Navigating to certain pages cause my screen to go black with the cursor still active (mouse-over of invisible window borders still change the cursor shape).
I have to power off and on afterwards.
This happens more often with Opera than IE, but still happens with IE. I've tried posting to the Opera forum, but with no luck.
I initially noticed the problem with opening PDF documents in Opera, then I noticed that it happened with any page that included flash. I fixed the PDF issue by installing a non-Adobe PDF viewer, but the problem persists for the flash pages and in some cases with IE as well.
I suspect that it is something to do with switching part of the GDI to a certain mode.
Also, one more place where I've noticed the problem is in the Opera Preferences when I hit "OK" to save changes...
Any ideas?
