Hi
I have a Toshiba satellite laptop with winxp / vista dual boot on a partitioned drive.
I received a physical memory dump / blue screen of death in winxp when trying to play a dvd that the system / dvd player didn't get along with.
Now the computer will not reload to the dual boot menu ... it shows the initial Toshiba flash screen then goes to black with blinking cursor.
From reading various posts, I am thinking that I will need to repair the xp installation with the original cd, however, if I do this will it keep the dual boot functionality or will this be overwritten? [I haven't been able to find a specific post on restoring the dual boot aspect

Any help with the best way forward that will save my data and keep the dual boot in place will be much appreciated??
