Black Screen

hey just need sum help with my dell inspiron laptop.
the computer loads xp n goes to the splash screen of windows xp n then afta that the screen turns off.
screen works fine until on loadup of user account page n on windows itself.
windows still runs just can't see anything.
any help is greatly appriceiated

hi

your resolution is set to high, reboot windows, just before the splash screen press F8 and choose safe mode, go into device manager and remove the video card and reboot.

let windows find the card and all should be good.
