Blue Screen - 0x0000007e

HELP!! I recently cleaned a virus or something off my PC over this past weekend. then I loaded some window security updates (XP). When I "restated" I got a blue screen with the following error:

Stop: 0x0000007e(0xc0000005, 0x80537009, 0xFAA43E0. 0xF7AA40DC)

I cannot boot to any other mode in XP...I tried Safe mode...etc...nothing works.

Can anymore advise me what I need to do from here?
