Hello Everyone.

Please help, my laptop(windows XP with SP2) is crashing over and over on me after I installed PCAnywhere 10.5 yesterday; it got a blue screen and reboot automatically right away after first restart. And now if I logon in normal mode, it got a few error sceens with "Error Signture... send report ... don't send...", then it will get into a blue screen and reboot within 2 or 3 minutes.

Try to uninstall PCAnywhere, no success, got blue screen;

Got into Safe Mode, and try to uninstall PCAnywhere, no success, "windows installer service doesn't support in safe mode....".

Check the event viewer:

System Error EventID 1003

Error code 10000050, parameter1 e2472000, parameter2 00000001, parameter3 bf9d43cc, parameter4 00000001.

and also
System Error EventID 1003

Error code 00000019, parameter1 00000020, parameter2 e2738960, parameter3 e2739740, parameter4 0dbcaba4.

Can anyone please help, I really have no clue what to do.
I attached a few minidumps as well.

Thank you.

Hello and welcome to Techspot.

All your minidumps crash at awvid5.dll.

Do you have the PcAnywhere programme?

If so try uninstalling, and reinstalling the programme. Also check for any updates, or patches.

If that doesn`t work, then uninstall the programme.

Thanks Howard -- Looking good now.

I reinstalled and uninstalled PCAnywhere, the following is the latest Error I got:

System error 1003

Error code 1000000a, parameter1 abcdef1e, parameter2 000000ff, parameter3 00000000, parameter4 804e35e9.

The best thing is: the system won't reboot automatically system since then, however, I suspect it still something wrong there, one of my application doesn't execute properly.

I am posting the last dump I got, hope you can give me some ideas. :)

Thanks a million.

Your last minidump crashes at sr.sys. This is your system restore file filter driver.

Reboot your computer and see if you get the BSOD again.

Regards Howard :)
