  1. Hey, I have Windows Home Center Edition and it suddenly showed up with a Blue Screen when I tried to restart the computer. It was working absolutely fine before, but now it says that I've installed some new hardware etc. However, I haven't installed anything for the last couple of days. It also says something about checking Bios. Also, even if I try going on Safe Mode, the same screen comes up. HELP! Thanks

This is the error the comes up:
    STOP: 0x000000ED (0x86592368, 0xC0000006, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)

It also says UNMOUNTABLE BOOT VOLUME, and something about disable BIOS Memory.
However, I can't do any of that because the same things comes on when I try Safe Mode.

    Thanks.

Edit: Do I need to give you some extra info? Or is this common? Cause I can't even get on in safe mode to be able to fix the problem.

What OS are you running and do you have the CD?

Bythe way, how does your friend even know it is permanently broke?
