BNC to RCA

Hi, I have bought some surveillance equipment for my store. The cameras have a BNC plug, and I bought a BNC to RCA plug to connect it to my videocard (WinTV-PVR) on my computer. But it won't work properly, I only get still images. Have anyone got any experience with a BNC to RCA plug, is it possible to get live pictures from a CCD video camera this way?

Best regards Kim

Hello! Welcome to TechSpot!

It might be best to search out security equipment suppliers.
I'll look through some of my contacts to try getting an answer.

Cool

This is what my old appartment complex ended up with
when I did security for them. Seems we had the same
problem with standard computer video & caputer cards.

I think this where they got it
netZeye Capture Card

Kinda sucks tho, you'd think it would work with the equip. we already have :dead:

Thank you for answering SOcRatEs. I'va mailed the company I bought it from now, and asked what I'm missing. I have a DVR, but I don't have any monitor that has a BNC input, so I thought this BNC to RCA plug would help, but obvi :dead:
