I just upgraded my mother board to a P5gpl-x, my graphics card to a ati x1900xt and my power supply to 580w. I kept my ram (DDR400), hard drive and cd drive. But now as i try to boot it up, it just get to the screen asking if i want to start windows in safe mode etc. Then it will try to boot and the windows loading screen will flash up but then go back to the start-up screen showing what type my motherboard is and then back into a loop of going to the safe mode screen and so on.
Is it harddrive incompatiblity or what?

    Hello and welcome to Techspot.

Your problem is likely caused by your hard drive having the drivers for your old mobo etc. These won`t work with your new hardware.

Try doing a Windows repair as per this thread HERE.

If that doesn`t help, you should be prepared to reformat and reinstall from scratch.
